Wall Street extends gains amid FOMC minutes

FXStreet (San Francisco) - US stocks market advanced on Wednesday to recover yesterday's losses as investors welcomed FOMC minutes and the hint that the central bank wouldn't raise rates soon.

The Dow bounced from 3-week lows and after climbing 158.75 points or 0.97% the DJIA closed at 16,533.06. The S&P 500 added 15.20 pts or 0.81% to 1,888.03. The Nasdaq Composite advaced 34.65 points or 0.85% to finish at 4,131.54.
