LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a drop in the inventory levels of the base metals viz., Copper, Lead, and Aluminium. While Nickel and Zinc stocks witnessed a built-up.

Nickel inventories added 1704 tonnes. While zinc inventories rose by a massive 33775 tonnes. On the other hand, Copper stocks fell by 2125 tonnes. While Lead and Aluminium stocks deducted 250 tonnes and 9875 tonnes respectively.

Treasury yields dip in anticipation of dovish fed minutes

Treasuries rose for the first time in three days, thereby pushing the yields lower on speculation that the Fed minutes would put more emphasis on the economic slowdown and may show policy makers are willing to delay the rate hike.
