NZD/USD holds above 0.8040
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The kiwi weakened against the US dollar after reaching a daily high at 0.8092 during the European session. NZD/USD started to decline from the highs and bottomed at 0.8042, just two pips above yesterday’s lows.
After Wall Street opening bell the pair recovered ground and currently trades at 0.8065/70, around the same price it had at the beginning of the day. On Tuesday NZD/USD posted the lowest daily close in a year.
NZD/USD levels to watch
To the downside, immediate support lies at 0.8040 (September 23 low) and below here at 0.8000. To the upside, the pair could face resistance between 0.8090 and 0.8100 and above here at 0.8120/25.
